W.R. Gilmour (i.e. Reay Gilmour) is our resident “wordsmith”. He blogs about truthspeaking (How to be a Truthspeaker) and poetry (I Write Half). Reay is an accomplished, published poet.

W.R. currently writes for our blogs at Kentstead Media, and in other outlets under the name W.R. Gilmour. His friends call him a wordsmith because he’s always banging out words and trying to make new things out of them. His main focus has been usually poetry. But he’s been chasing truth and fiction in various ways for years, and is always looking for ways to improve his craftsmanship.

Reay grew up in Canada where he graduated from the University of Lethbridge with Bachelor’s degrees in both English and Education. Thus, he not only enjoys improving his own writing, but also helps others improve theirs.

Reay has an interesting and difficult job as a high school equivalency teacher at a men’s prison in Missouri. He is a husband, the father of two brilliant children, and the apparent servant of his wife’s five disapproving cats. His writing and poetry has previously been featured on Kenstead Media, Riddled with Arrows, and Parousia Magazine.
